The non-profit association, Friends of the Galápagos Islands Switzerland, has been committed to researching and protecting the unique Galápagos archipelago since 1998. Together with national and international partners and nature conservation organizations, we support projects that make a valuable contribution to preserving the species and sensitive ecosystems of this natural paradise through scientific research, educational work, and practical nature conservation.

We are committed to a Galápagos where the unique flora and fauna can exist permanently and the sensitive ecosystems are effectively protected. Our goal is a harmonious coexistence between humans and nature – as an international model for successful, scientifically based nature conservation.
